Developed in 2005 to meet the specific needs of UK and foreign water companies, the Arlington Emergency Water Tank is a unique alternative to traditional emergency water supply solutions such as bottled water or bowsers.
Whether it is providing emergency water to UK flooding incidents such as the Gloucester flooding in 2007 or assisting with water provision during the Pakistan floods in 2010 the Arlington Tank has proved itself as a fast and practical solution in emergency situations:
- Severn Trent
- Bristol Water
- Thames Water
- Wincanton - Festivals and Events
- United Utilities
- Aid for Pakistan
- Middle East
Severn Trent

During the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire flooding in July 2007, Arlington were able to supply Severn Trent Water at short notice with their Emergency Water Tanks. The tanks were filled on site from a tanker and loaded onto and dispatched from a flat bed with a hiab. STW said "Arlington Emergency Water tanks had DWI-compliant liners so we saved time avoiding a chlorination stage before we could deploy them. There was a genuine desire by everyone to deliver water as quickly and as effectively as possible and the Emergency Water tanks made that a reality."
STW have subsequently acquired their own Emergency Water Tanks from Arlington, to be used in the event of future emergencies.
